CONGRATULATIONS



Michel LADZUNSKI, Gold Medal CNRS

Following Jean-Claude RISSET of the LMA-CNRS, Marseille in 1999, Michel LAZDUNSKI has been awarded the gold medal of the CNRS for 2000.
Professor at the Université de Nice-Sophia Antipolis and director of the CNRS Institut de pharmacology moléculaire et cellulaire, Michel LAZDUNSKI is a specialist of ionic channels.
His work is of international renown both for its fundamental aspects as well as its applications in pharmacology and in pathology whether it be in the understanding of the mechanisms of hypertensors, antidiabetics, anaesthetics or the mechanisms of pain perception, of cardiac arrhythmia … etc.

The gold medal will be presented at the Sorbonne on 20th December 2000.

Méditerranée Technologies congratulates him and his team.

Annuel Reunion of the Innovation RELAY CENTRE NETWORK (IRC):
FLORENCE 19th & 20th October 2000

Alain Pitot, ANVAR, Paul Lauriac, Regional Technologic Multipôle (MTR) and Christian Dubarry, Méditerranée Technologies, represented the IRC MedIN at the annual meeting of the network at which 68 IRCs (200 organizations) met with the European Commission.
