A TECHNOLOGY TRANSFER OFFICE AT THE UNIVERSITE DE NICE SOPHIA-ANTIPOLIS

Nadine Marchandé, who directed the Incubateur PACA-EST at Sophia-Antipolis for two years has been named director of the Service de Valorisation/Technology transfer office of the Université de Nice Sophia-Antipolis. This newly created structure aims to transfer the research work of the University and of the economic world. This new department, based at Nice, will provide a real opportunity to researchers to make their work known and to become familiar with the activities of companies. The service will organize internal training seminars and information meetings for researchers as well as public conferences so as to increase the general level of awareness vis à vis projects and activities underway. It will also by an intermediary for companies and industrial partners in search of a specific technological or scientific expertise within the laboratories of the University.
