Nor-Fishing MatchMaking Event - Tronheim - 9 Août 2006.

Nor-Fishing is the world’s leading international fishery trade show and is held every second year in Trondheim, Norway. Nor-Fishing 2006 is the 21st event since 1960, and will be held on 8-11 August. The trade show will present the very latest in products, services and research related to the fishery industry.

900 companies were represented at Nor-Fishing 2004, and 25.000 people from 54 countries visited the exhibition.

IRC Norway in cooperation with the Euro Info Centre in Trondheim and Euro Info Centre in Narvik will arrange a Match Making Event parallel to the Fair. This is a unique opportunity to establish new contacts for technology transfer and commercial partnerships.

Cost: Nor-Fishing MatchMaking event is partly supported by Innovation Norway and the participants will only pay a minor participation fee of 80 €.

The fee will include assistance in booking meetings, presentation of the company in the electronic catalogue and other practical assistance during the MatchMaking Event.

Matchmaking at Electronix Scandinavia 2006 - Goteborg - 6 septembre 2006.

Electronix Scandinavia will be the tenth Scandinavian electronics exhibition. The event is a powerful, business-generating venue for the whole electronics industry. The exhibition is being organised by the Swedish Exhibition Centre in cooperation with IM Association in Sweden.

RIGA FOOD brokerage event - Riga - 8 septembre 2006.

RIGA FOOD 2006 is the 11th International Trade Fair For Food Industry, Drinks, Food Processing Technology and Packing International Food Competition.

In 2005 more than 560 exhibitors from 25 countries participated in RIGA FOOD, and more than 34 000 visitors were registered.

This year there is an opportunity to participate in a brokerage event, organised by IRC Latvia (Latvian Technological Centre)and IRC Lithuania, and kindly hosted by BT1. Also other IRCs are invited to be co-organisers of this event. The brokerage event will enable its participants to make fruitful contacts with potential business and research partners from all over Europe, especially Baltic countries.
Participants are invited to publish their technology profiles in an online catalogue. Individual bilateral meetings will be booked in advance and will be pre-arranged and assisted by IRC Latvia staff.

FOOD BROKERAGE EVENT -"Food is life", the 13th World Congress of Food Science & Technology - Nantes (Fr) - 20 septembre 2006.

BIO meets Nano and IT - Oulu (Finlande) - 7/8 Septembre 2006.

IRC Finland, Tekes and Bioforum Oulu will organise a partnering event In Oulu Finland on 7th and 8th September, in connection with the Bio meets Nano and IT conference.

The international "BIO MEETS NANO AND IT" event brings together companies, organisations, research groups and institutions across technological borders from biotechnology, ICT and electronics. The aim is to enhance interregional and interdisciplinary collaboration in the fields of biosciences, nanotechnology and information technology.

The event consists of a partnering section and lectures under the following topics:
- From miniaturised electronic systems to biosensors
- High-throughput technologies and multiple analysis
- Nanosystems and new matarials for bio applications

BIOFORUM - Partnering Event 2006 - 19/20 septembre 2006 - Milan (Italie).

IRC Lombardia organises a partnering event during BIOFORUM 2006, the third edition of the conference and exhibition on Biotechnologies that will take place in Milan from 19th to 20th September 2006.
In 2005 Bioforum had 1318 participants from 419 companies or organisations from Italy (in particular from Lombardy: 57%) and from several European countries.
The conference-exhibition will give the opportunity to know the Italian biotech sector and in particular the Lombardy biotech cluster, the most important in Italy for number of companies, research institutes and universities.

The aim of the partnering event is to organise qualified one-to-one meetings between potential partners in order to establish technology collaborations.

Participation in the partnering event is free of charge.
