Environnement

International Cooperation Forum for Environmental and Energy Technologies in Potsdam, Germany, from June 7-9, 2006.

The Potsdam Chamber of Commerce - in cooperation with the IRC North Germany - proudly announces the international partnership forum for energy and environmental technologies "Green Ventures". The event will take place from June 7th - June 9th for the ninth year in row in Potsdam, Germany's Capital Region. In the last years, about 2.200 firms representing 86 nations participated in the event in Potsdam. In 2002 and 2004 the "Green Ventures" also took place for the first time outside of Germany in Shanghai.

This year’s partnership forum, emphasising soil, water, air, energy, construction, recycling, and renewable materials will feature business-to-business talks, presentations, and excursions. A regional focus will be Italy.

Participants select their desired partners for the business-to-business talks by a catalogue of participant profiles before the event. The main organiser, the Potsdam Chamber of Commerce and Industry, provides each participant with an individual appointment plan based on these selections. This makes the "Green Ventures" an efficient forum for establishing business contacts to firms, institutions and local and national authorities worldwide.

Firms and institutions from China, Italy, Poland, the Baltic Countries, Belgium, Great Britain, Scandinavia, Tunisia, the Czech Republic, Germany and further countries are expected to participate.

Green Ventures is supported by: the European Commission, the Federal State of Brandenburg, the Potsdam Mittelbrandenburgische Sparkasse, Rimini Fair SpA, the Brandenburg Economic Development Board, ifus and friends and the Italian Chamber of Commerce in Germany.
