ACHEMA 2006 – Partnering event “Chemical Engineering” - Frankfurt am Main (Allemagne) - 15 Mai 2006.

ACHEMA 2006 is the branch summit for the process industries. As the leading international event for equipment suppliers of the chemical industry and all branches of the process industry ACHEMA is once again set to spark off trend-setting impulses for developments, worldwide contacts and new business networks. The event is expected to attract some 4.000 exhibitors and 200.000 visitors from all over the world.

For the first time at ACHEMA IRC Hessen/Rhineland-Palatinate, in co-operation with other partners from the IRC Network, is organising a brokerage event dedicated to stakeholders from equipment and process industry. The event will cover the main topics of the exhibition, such as

ELECTROZONE - Convention d'affaires - Budapest - 17 Mai 2006.

IRC Hungary has decided to take charge of a partnering meeting joined the forthcoming Industria 2006 Fair between 16-19 May, 2006 at HUNGEXPO, Budapest.

Industria is Hungary's largest and one of the region's leading industrial trade exhibitions. In 2005 it hosted 567 exhibitors and 207 firms from 19 countries. Electronics and electro-technology represent the key branch of industry within the HUNGEXPO exhibition range, one which has been handled as part of Industria. From 2006, although being a section at Industria, it will be set up with a distinct name, ElectroSalon, and its own logo.

ElectroZone – our brokerage event – is planned to be held on the 17th May, 2006 and will be focused on the following technology areas:

• Electronic Commerce, Electronic Payment
• Electronic Signature
• Electric Engineering and Technology/Electrical Equipment
• Electromedical and Medical Equipment

Aéronautique / Aérospatial et technologies associées

Berlin Air Show ILA 2006 - Convention d'affaire - Berlin - 16/17 Mai 2006.

On the occasion of Berlin Air Show ILA 2006, one of the world's leading fairs for aerospace and aviation technologies, IRC Northern Germany with the support of the AEROSPACE TG of the IRC Network and Technologie Allianz as well as Berlin Brandenburg Aerospace Alliance and the German Industries Aerospace Association as well as Messe Berlin will again organise the IRC brokerage event.

The aim is to help exhibitors and visitors of the fair to find partners in Europe for technology-oriented partnerships. Companies, universities and research institutes in the aerospace, aviation and connected sectors are invited to use this platform to establish new cross-border contacts for future collaboration. The dates of the fair are 16-21 May 2006 and the brokerage event will last from 16-17 May 2006.

Participation costs are 50,- € charged by the local co-organising IRC supporting the client. In case there is no local IRC being co-organiser IRC Northern Germany will support this client and charge the client directly. Participants will additonally have to pay the entrance fee to the fair. The brokerage event Berlin Air Show - ILA 2006 takes place again in hall 4.

Soil and Water Pollution - Conférence et convention d'affaire - Orebro (Suède) - 29 et 30 mai 2006.

As a part of the major Swedish Joint Environment Event, IRC Central Sweden and EIC Örebro are organising a Seminar and Transnational Technology Transfer day in the field of “Soil and water pollution”.

The event will take place in Örebro on 29-30 May 2006.
The first day will be spent on a number of seminars addressing the topics - soil and water pollution. On the second day, companies, universities, institutes and public administrations will have the opportunity to exchange information and present technology profiles in one-to-one meetings according to the participants’ wishes and requests. The goal is to match technology profiles and know-how (offers and requests) concerning the most advanced systems and devices for monitoring, analysing and treating soil and water pollution.
During the two-day event it will also be possible to exhibit and display offers, requests and RTD results by means of posters, roll-ups etc.

Optique / Optronique

OPTATEC 2006 – International Partnering Event Optics/Optoelectronics - Frankfurt - 22/23 June 2006.

IRC Hessen/Rheinland-Pfalz and EIC Wiesbaden are partners in the EU project “Arca Nova“ and organisers of a partnering event in the field of optical technologies. The event takes place in parallel to the fair Optatec (www.optatec-messe.com) in Frankfurt, Germany from 22 to 23 June 2006.

“Arca Nova” aims to initiate business relations among companies from the old and new EU member states - between Western and Eastern Europe. 21 partners, mostly EICs from 11 different countries - Bulgaria, Denmark, Germany, France, Great Britain, Italy, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Spain, Hungary - are working together on the project.

Topics of the event are optical components, fibre optics, laser and fibre optics light guides as well as optical measurement and testing techniques. One focus is the application of optical systems in medical technology.

Interested companies are asked to register and to inform on their co-operation requests and ideas until 10 May 2006. The participation fee for the two-days-event is € 150.00 (plus VAT) and contains the catering during the days of the event, a dinner of all participants as well as the bus transfer from the hotel at Oberursel to the fair in Frankfurt.

FARMAMEETINGS - 2nd Edition - Exhibition for Pharmaceutical, Biopharmaceutical and Laboratory Providers - Madrid (Spain) - 29 June 2006.

The Exhibition for Pharmaceutical, Biopharmaceutical and Laboratory Providers (FARMAMEETING) will have its 2nd edition at Recinto Ferial Casa de Campo, Madrid between 28th and 30th June 2006. This exhibition has been prepared to attract pharmaceutical industry decision-makers and highly qualified buyers involved in any stage of pharmaceutical product development, from research to commercialisation. Chief executives from research, clinical or analytical laboratories, scientists, biologists, chemists, biochemists, physicians, engineers, bioinformatics, pharma marketing experts and representatives from different Life Science Areas are also invited to come to this exhibition.
